Marko Arnautović was born on April 19, 1989 in Vienna. He began his football career in the youth system of the Austrian club Floridsdorfer, after which he continued his development in Austria Vienna and Rapid Vienna, and established himself in the Dutch Twente jersey.
His impressive performances in the Dutch league led to a move to Inter Milan in 2009, where he worked with legendary coach José Mourinho and spent a year on loan. He continued his career at Werder Bremen, where he became a regular first-team player and earned a reputation as a reliable striker.
Transfers to the Premier League followed, first to Stoke City in 2013, and then to West Ham four seasons later, where he provided some of the best performances of his career. From 2019 to 2021, he played for Chinese club Shanghai SIPG. He then returned to Europe, when he joined Bologna and worked with Sinisa Mihajlovic. Known for his exceptional physical fitness, great technique and goal-scoring instinct, Arnautovic received a call from Inter, with whom he won Serie A.
He has played over 100 games for the Austrian national team and participated in several major competitions, including the 2016, 2021, and 2024 European Championships.
