Red Star Belgrade players won the Serbian championship for the 2025/26 season, thus securing their ninth consecutive national championship title, four rounds before the end. Crvena Zvezda After 37 games played, they recorded 27 wins, five draws and five losses, with 86 points won, with a goal difference of 100:31.

Crvena Zvezda opened the competitive year with a triumph against Javor at the “Rajko Mitić” stadium with a score of 4:0. By the end of the first part of the season, the red and whites, led by Vladan Milojević, had played 19 more matches and achieved 13 wins, three losses, and three matches ended in a draw.

Aleksandar Katai was the top scorer with 24 goals in the championship, while Marko Arnautović was the team's top assister with eight assists. During the 2025/26 season, Katai surpassed Dragan Đajić to become the second-highest scorer in Red Star's history.

Ivan Guteša, Savo Radanović, Vuk Draškić, Vuk Roganović, Strahinja Baučal, Gorazd Ristovski and Uroš Đorđević did not play a minute until the end of the season.

In the spring part of the competition, led by Dejan Stanković, the red and whites played in 17 matches in the domestic championship. Our first team players triumphed in 13 matches, with two draws and the same number of losses.

Vasilije Kostov became the youngest scorer in the history of the biggest match in Serbian football in the 178th eternal derby. Kostov was only 17 years, nine months and 11 days old at the time of scoring the goal, surpassing Andrija Maksimović.

By winning the 179th eternal derby Crvena Zvezda repeated the success of the 1997/98 season and for the first time in 28 years recorded all three victories in a season over their eternal rival.

With the triumph in the Serbian Cup final over the Vojvodina team, the team won its historic sixth double crown in a row.
