Crvena zvezda after winning the Superliga, also managed to win the Serbian Cup, defeating their eternal rival 2:1 in the final.
May 26, 2022 at Marakana will be remembered for a long time! Another great game by then-chosen Dejan Stanković and a new trophy in our club's showcase - the 26th in total when it comes to national cup competitions, thus repeating the success from the previous season when the double crown was also won.

Crvena zvezda managed to defeat: Indjija away 1:0 (Živković), Radnički Niš at home 0:0 (3:2p), TSC at home 4:0 (Katai, Ben, Ivanić, Ben) and Novi Pazar at home 8:0 (Ben, Ohi, Pavkov, Ohi, Ivanić, Stanković, Stanić, Stanković), thus confidently advancing to the finals of the competition. In the final, Aleksandar Katai entered the scene and completely destroyed his eternal rival with two goals (2:1).
