Wolt is a Helsinki-based technology company with a mission to bring more joy, simplicity, and revenue opportunities to communities around the world. Wolt is building a local commerce platform that connects people who want to order food, groceries, and other products with those who sell and deliver them. Wolt was founded in 2014 and in 2022 it partnered with DoorDash (NASDAQ: DASH). Today, DoorDash operates in more than 40 countries around the world. Our vision is to build a digital version of the shopping malls we used to visit, but this time with the convenience of having everything delivered to our home or work address in about half an hour. We started with a restaurant on the top floor, then expanded to grocery on the ground floor, as well as all the other shops and boutiques in between – and this is just the beginning.
