We always try to win football matches, but sometimes there are wins that need to be won off the pitch as well. This week FK Crvena zvezda made a donation to Children‘s University Hospital in Tiršova Street in Belgrade.
We are confident that the Hospital will put the modern equipment worth around €100,000 to good use and that the community will benefit from this immensly.
Club‘s officials and players visited the Hospital today and wished the staff every success in their work to secure health of our youth. General Director Zvezdan Terzić, President Svetozar Mijailović, Director of Football Mitar Mrkela and Head Coach Vladan Milojević were there to greet Hospital Director Siniša Dučić and wish him and his colleagues well.
Doctor Dučić thanked the Club for the equipment that will be used to treat infants.
„This donation came at just the right time. We‘d like to thank everyone at Crvena zvezda for this act of kindness. We have a great understanding with Serbia‘s Ministry of Health and with our famous football club. This makes our work easier.“
Zvezdan Terzić stated that everyone at the football club is happy to be able to help the others in this manner.
„This hospital is significant for the health of Serbia‘s children. There are kids who have important matches to play and we hope that we‘ve increased their chances of winning by donating this equipment. This club has grown because everyone who represented it always wanted to win. I hope that our kids will be strong and win their battles so they could enjoy football in the future.“
Head Coach Vladan Milojević, joined by players Marko Marin, Nemanja Milunović, Miloš Degenek and Milan Borjan, visited children at the hospital and wished them quick recovery.
