It was one of those games where everyone expects you to win and the pressure builds until it seems too hard. But thankfully, our players kept going until the end and beat the resilient Mladost side.
In our glorious history we've had some terrific achievements, and winning the 30th national title is the latest. This is why we will proudly wear three golden stars above the club's badge.
Having led the race since the beginning of the season, the red and whites showed that they are the best team in the country and that they deserved to lift the trophy again.
It was that man Milan Pavkov who scored the only goal of the match to give Crvena zvezda the precious victory. It looked like the winning goal may not come today as Ben had a penalty kick saved midway through the second half. But Vladan Milojević's team kept going and scored a lovely team goal to win the league. It was only fitting!
It's celebration time! We are the champions of Serbia!
