Young midfielder Njegoš Petrović made the switch from FK Rad and signed a four-year contract with Crvena zvezda.
The talented youngster has caught the eye with some promising performances lately so everyone at Crvena zvezda is delighted at bringing such an exciting player to Rajko Mitić Stadium. The player himself is said to be proud at the move.
"It's an incredible honour to be at a club like this. I made my Superliga debut when I was just 16, which was pretty exciting, but I know that this will be different. I'm looking forward to growing as a player here."
Petrović, who turned 20 last month, is happy to learn from his older team-mates, such as Dušan Jovančić and José Alberto Cañas.
"There are some quality players here. I can benefit a lot if I listen to their advice. There is a lot of experience in this squad, and I’ll try to learn as much as possible. I want to be prepared for the day gaffer gives me the nod. It’s all about making the most of the chances that come your way."
