Vladan Milojević opted for a highly attacking team with Milan Pavkov, Dejan Joveljić and El Fardou Ben all starting.
It was a lovely sunny day in Belgrade, but the pitch at Rad's ground left a lot to be desired, with passes often going astray because of bobbles on the playing surface.
Still, the red and whites bossed the game for the majority of the game. It was in-form Dejan Joveljić who put the red and whites ahead on 20 minutes as he pounced on a loose ball to hammer home. Branko Jovičić has thought he's scored, only to see his shot parried by Dušan Marković. But "Jovelja" was on hand to tuck the ball in the net before celebrating with the fans.
El Fardou Ben and Milan Pavkov came close with their efforts just before the break, but it remained 1-0 as the half time whistle went.
That boy Joveljić produced another moment of magic shortly after the restart as he turned and controlled the ball in the box before prodding home with a clever low finish. It was a magnificent goal to make it 2-0.
Milan Pavkov and Branko Jovičić were replaced by Lorenzo Ebecilio and Miloš Vulić as Head Coach Vladan Milojević altered his formation around the hour mark.
Tempo was slower as the final whistle approaching with Rad unable to really test Milan Borjan. But there was still time for Ben to get in the goalscoring action as he swept home late on after being played on by a fantastic Lorenzo Ebecilio pass.
