After a week in Cyprus and a couple od training matches versus FK Grafičar and BASK in Belgrade, the team flew over to sunny Antalya in Turkey for another two weeks of preparations ahead of the second part of the 2017/18 season.
The squad was divided in two, so there were two friendlies for the red-and-whites on Sunday.
In the first game, our team defeated Football Club Stumbras of Lithania 3-1 with Milijaš, Pešić and Pavkov grabbing the goals for the Belgrade side.
The team for that match was: Supić, Stojković, Babić, Savić, Anđelković, Donald, Milijaš, Srnić, Milić, Radonjić and Pešić. After the break there were some much-needed minutes for Kahriman, Račić, Luka Ilić, Pavkov and Ivan Ilić.
Not long after the final whistle it was time for another match, this time against FC Dynamo Brest of Belarus. It was another dominant performance from the red-and-whites, with Luka Adžić and El Fardou Ben Nabouhane scoring in a 2-0 win.
Head Coach Vladan Milojević picked the following starting eleven: Borjan, Hajdin, Frimpong, Le Tallec, Rodić, Krstičić, Jovičić, Ben Nabouhane, Kanga, Adžić and Boakye. Eraković replaced the injured Frimpong early on and produced an assured performance in the centre of defence.
There were also minutes for Luka Ilić, Stanković, Joveljić and Nikolić.
Both matches were streamed live on FK Crvena zvezda’s official YouTube channel and the fans could enjoy a pair of assured performance in which the red-and whites played some good attacking football.
