Head Coach Vladan Milojević spoke to press in Barysaw ahead of UEFA Europa League clash between Belarus champions FC BATE and Crvena zvezda. He stressed that his team will play to win.
„Every match we play, we play to win. Tomorrow's game will be no different. We're facing a strong team with a fine European record. They lost in Cologne, but I feel that the final scoreline was harsh on them. They played really well and could have won a point at least. We must be fully focused because FC BATE are a very organized side. Their Serbian midfielder Mirko Ivanić is a dangerous playmaker, but they have quite a few quality players.“
The red-and-whites will have to make do without Nemanja Radonjić as winger is out with a foot injury.
„I feel sorry for Nemanja because this is a fixture he'd enjoy. But he's out of this one and we will have to find a solution. These things happen in football and there is no point in looking back. We have to prepare the best we can.“
Asked about what could decide the match tomorrow, Milojević replied:
“I’m expecting a close match and those are often decided by mistakes. This is why I want my players to be focused and try to prevent silly mistakes. But above all, I want them to be confident, to show belief and to enjoy football. That’s the only way to get results.”
