But the points won’t be celebrated too much as our team lost Branko Jovičić through serious injury. Branko is likely to miss around ten weeks of action due to a broken bone in his foot.
Aleksandar Pešić opened the scoring on 20 minutes after Nemanja Radonjić has been fouled in the box. Pešić’s initial penalty was saved by Kirovski, but former Toulouse striker was composed and he tucked the rebound home to make it 1-0.
There were goals for Pešić and Stojković in the second half as Zvezda ensured three more points along with another much-needed clean sheet. This was sixth clean sheet in a row for the red-and-whites.
Next up for Vladan Milojević and his team is a trip to Surdulica on Thursday when they’ll face FK Radnik.
