Ghanaian striker Richmond Boakye joins Crvena zvezda on a 18-month loan deal from Italian Serie B outfit U.S. Latina Calcio. There is a clause in the contract that will enable the champions of Serbia to sign the 24-year-old on permanent basis.

Richmond Boakye-Yiadom was born on 28 January 1993 in the town of Agogo , in Ashanti region of Ghana. He spent the majority of his career in Italy, where he’s been at Genoa, Juventus and Atalanta, with loan spells at U.S. Sassuolo Calcio, Elche CF, and Roda JC Kerkrade.
He was capped by The Black Stars 10 times, scoring three times.
He is the second Ghanaian player to join Zvezda this January, after Abraham Frimpong had arrived from Napredak.
