FK Crvena zvezda is happy to annouce that new head coach of our club is Isreali expert Barak Bakhar, who was signed a three-year contract.
Bakhar was born on September 21, 1979, and he started his coaching career in Irona Kiryat Shmoni, where he started as an assistant, and soon took over the team completely and won the Israel Cup. Already in 2015, he made a breakthrough, becoming the head coach of Hapoel Be'er Sheva and winning three championship titles, as well as two Super Cups. It could not go unnoticed, so he sat on the bench of Maccabi Haifa and in three seasons, won three titles, as well as another Super Cup. In the current season, he managed to eliminate Olympiakos, Apollon and Crvena zvezda in the Champions League qualifiers with Maccabi in order to register a triumph against Juventus in the group stage.
There is no doubt that he is one of the most promising head coaches in Europe, who has already won 10 trophies.
We welcome Barak and believe that in the years ahead he will achieve great results with our Crvena zvezda!
