It was one of those nights where simply everything goes right. An early header from Ben set the tone for the match and it looked even better on 22 minutes when our Comorian star hammered in from the centre of the area.
Chances came and went as Zvezda dominated the match, but Katai was unlucky to only hit the post with his long-range drive.
There was a period of doubt as the visitors reduced the deficit with a wonderful strike from Jan Matoušek just before the break, but our players wouldn't let that prove nothing more than a minor setback.
Milan Gajić slotted home five minutes after the break and the red and whites never looked back.
A magnificent solo goal from Aleksanar Katai and a good header by Diego Falcinelli in space of just three minutes were enough to knock out the Czech team and secure the well-deserved points for Crvena zvezda.
