We are set to face the champions of Cyprus in the Champions League Third qualifying round and Head Coach Dejan Stanković warned his team to be ready for a tough battle.
"This is Champions League, so every opponent is tough. It wasn’t easy against Europa and Tirana, and it certainly isn’t going to be easy against Omonia. We know that they are a quality team so we will need to be sharp when we go there. Still, we can’t afford to think about Omonia just yet because we’ve got another league game before we travel to Cyprus. We must take it one game at a time."
The tie against Omonia will be decided over just one leg – the away leg.
"Ideally, we’d play at home. But the draw has decided that we’ll be playing away from home again. It is what it is and we will need to use our qualities and make them count when it matters. Going to Cyprus isn’t going to be easy, but it’s all down on us – we want to win."
