Marko Petrović was born on 4 March 1981 in Belgrade. He earned his bachelor's degree in Finances at the University Of Washington in Seattle in 2004. He is fluent in English and French.
He's been developing his business career in banking sector with NLB Bank and Alpha Bank.
He assumed the role of Financial Director at FK Crvena zvezda in 2017 and spent three years at work before becoming our Operations Director. Since he's been with the club, our financial status has improved significantly as the club with the debt reducing at an encouraging rate. He was also there to oversee new investment in the club.
Petrović has had a difficult task in re-organising different sectors of the club to deal with the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic with his work notably ensuring smooth functioning of the club's Academy.
He was a dedicated sportsman with a noteworthy career in rowing. He won numerous medals with gold at the 2001 World Championship the highlight. He was a member of the Crvena zvezda Rowing Club.
He's father to Mia and Una Petrović.
